Professors

Robert Evans

Professor Evans is Chairman of the Economics, Business, and Accounting Department and Associate Director of the Center for Ethics and Entrepreneurship. He is involved in Rockford College’s public policy program, trains managers on law-related topics, is a political consultant and analyst, and serves on the Rockford Public School Board. Jeffrey Fahrenwald

Professor Fahrenwald is Associate Professor of Economics and Business and is Director of the MBA program. His work experience includes positions such as Chief Operating Officer and Director of Quality and Training. He teaches in the areas of human relations, management, leadership, entrepreneurship, and international studies in the MBA program. Matthew Flamm

Dr. Flamm is Associate Professor of Philosophy. He has published in Transactions of the Charles S. Peirce Society, Education and Culture, and Overheard in Seville: Bulletin of the Santayana Society. He received his B.A. degree from State University of New York at Stony Brook, his M.A. from Texas A&M University, and his Ph.D. from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale. Jules Gleicher

Dr. Gleicher is Chairman of the Political Science Department and Director of the Honors Program in Liberal Arts. He has published in such journals as Perspectives on Political Science, This World, and Interpretation. Dr. Gleicher received his B.A. degree in Government from Cornell University and his M.A. and Ph.D. in Political Science from the University of Chicago. Stephen Hicks

Dr. Hicks is Professor of Philosophy and the Executive Director of the Center for Ethics and Entrepreneurship. He is the author of several books, a documentary, and essays in magazines and scholarly journals. He received his honours B.A. and M.A. degrees from the University of Guelph, Canada, and his Ph.D. in philosophy from Indiana University, Bloomington. Stephen Kadamian

Professor Kadamian is Assistant Professor of Business. He received his B.A. in Government from Beloit College and his MBA from Rockford College. He has 26 years of management experience in higher education administration and the corporate world and owned his own consulting business. At Rockford College, Professor Kadamian teaches several courses in business including Principles of Marketing, Principles of Management, and Management Theory & Practice. Shawn Klein

Dr. Klein received his Bachelor’s degree from Tufts University in Massachusetts in 1995, his Master’s in Philosophy in 2001 from Arizona State University, where he also completed his Ph.D. in 2010. He is the co-editor of Harry Potter and Philosophy: If Aristotle Ran Hogwarts (Open Court, 2004). He teaches Ethical Theory, Sports Ethics, and Business and Economic Ethics. Fred Rezazadeh

Dr. Rezazadeh is Professor of Economics and Business. He is involved with national organizations in the area of economic growth and development, serves as a local business consultant, and is a published author of several books and articles. Staff

Christopher Vaughan

Chris manages the Center’s administrative functions, conducts Center-related research, and creates the CEE’s promotional pieces, including graphic design and video production. Chris received his B.A. in Philosophy from Rockford College in 2005. He graduated Summa Cum Laude, is a member of the Phi Beta Kappa society, and received the Walhout Prize in Philosophy. He also does freelance work in graphic design and video production.
