    I was a under grad at Cal Poly Pomona (Finance, Real Estate & Law) 2006. I found this piece interesting but did want to take issue with the notion that traditional Christian ethics would require someone to disclose the whereabouts of their son or daughter to a homicidal maniac else be considered a lier. When a homicidal maniac come to my door asking about my son or daughter my answer will be to ask him to pick up his teeth before he runs away with his life. In other words, I see no reason why I would be morally obligated to answer his question at all. Furthermore, I may be obligated to do what I can to prevent him from harming others (courage). Likewise, if someone asks me my bottom line I see no reason that I would be required to lie or disclose my true bottom line. Perhaps this is a false alternative as well.
