NYC named top global city

The Global Cities Index is a joint project of A.T. Kearney, Foreign Policy magazine, and the Chicago Council of Global Affairs. In 2008 New York City ranks at the top, followed by London, Paris, Tokyo and Hong Kong. The index evaluates cities based on five dimensions: business activity, human capital, information exchange, cultural experience, and political engagement.
